The Remote Learning teacher will reply to the email to let the parent know that the request has been received. School issued chromebooks must be checked in to the school before the student returns to class on October 26th . Once the chromebooks are checked in and assessed, they will be returned to the same student for use in the classroom. The chromebook check-in schedule is listed below. It is very important that students are caught up with their remote assignments before returning to traditional classes. Any assignments missed due to chromebook check-in day will be made up upon return. Students will receive notification of their classroom placement when chromebooks are returned. If the student is not using a school issued chromebook, the class placement will be emailed. Please check the school supply list on our website as you prepare to return to the traditional classroom. Go to www.troyschools.net , click on Troy Elementary School. In addition to normal school supplies, students will need a mask, a water bottle, and a snack each day. We are not currently selling snacks at school. Students are not allowed on campus before 7:30 and should be picked up between 2:20-2:50. All students may eat breakfast and lunch at no cost. Please refer to the Student Handbook for dress code information. This can be found on our website. TES Chromebook Return Dates: Kindergarten - Wednesday - October 21 - 8:00 - 9:30 1st grade - Thursday - October 22 - 8:00 - 9:30 2nd grade - Thursday - October 22 - 10:00 - 11:30 3rd grade - Thursday - October 22 - 12:00 - 1:30 4th grade - Friday - October 23 - 8:00 - 9:30 5th grade - Friday - October 23 - 10:00 - 11:30 6th grade - Friday - October 23 - 12:00 - 1:30 Please drive through portico in FRONT of the big building. Charles Henderson Middle School Parents choosing to return their students to the traditional classroom environment should complete the “CHMS Remote Transition Form” located at the bottom of the page. After completion, return the transition form to the CHMS office by Friday, October 2nd. Students will bring school issued chromebooks to campus on Monday, October 26th, upon returning to the traditional learning environment. Students will report to the CHMS cafeteria on Monday, October 26th ( 7:40 a.m.) to receive their class schedule for the second nine-weeks of school.
